Lost City Palace Hotel

This gorgeous hotel earned its worldwide fame since the Miss World Champion a few years ago. It became widely known in Hong Kong via the subsequent Miss Hong Kong Champion organized by TVB.

The Legend

It was part of the stunning entertainment and sports amenities of the Sun City leisure resort and is shrouded in mystery and legend.
In an age long ago, a normadic tribe ventured from the north of Africa to seek the blessed land of peace and plenty. They settled in a green valley encircled by ancient hills. Throught many generations, the people prospered. They toiled and built a magnificent city of grand proportions as a tribute to the King who had led them to their Utopia. They fashioned monuments of the animals which graced this blessed kingdom; and crafted things of great beauty which pleased their leader. One day, the sky grew dark. Distant rumblings caused the animals to flee into the sanctuary of the forest. There was an eerie stillness... and then the earth opened and consumed the beautiful city, its ponds and gardens. When at last the earthquake abated, all had been reduced to ruins. So the lost city and its beautiful palace lived on only in memory until it is rediscovered here today.

Beyond the lobby is the Rotunda infused with natural light and a warm golden glow, beyond which is the Crytal Court , the dinning hall with a bronze chandelier resplendent with crystal trinkets sparkling from the centre of a decorative ceiling.

Lake and Beach

From the bridge we can see a beautiful lake underneath. From time to time, great waves were generated, mimicing the waves resulting from the vocanic eruptions. At the shore one finds a lovely beach with fine sand and a superb view of the palace.
